Care Home Performances
I am an experienced care home singer, performing in care homes, dementia wards, memory cafes and supportive settings across the East Midlands.
Songs can reach and move residents, can bring back memories and create emotions. Singing and moving to songs are physical activities with benefits to speech, breathing and co-ordination. The cognitive benefits of music and of singing in particular are well documented.
